Qorikancha
In the afternoon, we will start the tour visiting the Temple of Coricancha, aslo known as Golden Temple, for its gold richness that this place housed. This symbolic place has a clear example of the fusion between Incan and Hispanic cultures, and during the Spanish conquer, the temple’s base was used to build the Church of Santo Domingo and its famous convent.

Then, we’re going to visit the Cathedral of Cusco located in the Main Square, to appreciate a beautiful religious paintings of the Cusco School. Also, it was declared as a World Cultural Heritage, as well as a Historic Monument of Peru.

Sacsayhuaman
The tour continues to the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman, an amazing place with huge carved stones which fit each other in a perfect way, and it is said that it was built by more than 20 thousand men, and took over 70 years to finish it. Located 2 Km. away from the city of Cusco, this Incan Fortress has amazing landscapes, and it houses llamas and hawks.

Later, we will visit the religious temple of Qenqo, place where the Incas worshiped their Gods like the Sun, the Moon and the Earth. You will have an incredible experience exploring through its underground passageways, and admire a semicircular amphitheater.
