Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi and a scenic journey through the Great Rift Valley toward the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you will enjoy views of dramatic escarpments, rolling hills, and traditional Maasai settlements. Upon arrival at your lodge or tented camp, you will check in and enjoy lunch while taking in the surrounding wilderness. After some time to relax, you will head out on your first afternoon game drive. This is an excellent opportunity to spot iconic African wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. As the sun begins to set over the savannah, the golden light creates ideal conditions for photography before you return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
