Marrakech - Tizi - N - Tichka - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges
3 Stops
1
Dades Gorges
Nomad crossings, rose valleys and two-tone kasbahs: even on paper, the Dadès Valley stretches the imagination. From the daunting High Atlas to the north to the rugged Jebel Saghro range south, the valley is dotted with oases and mudbrick palaces that give the region its fairy-tale nickname – Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. Some of the best views are only glimpsed when travelling on foot, along hidden livestock tracks between the Dadès and Todra Gorges and nomad routes across the Saghro.

Tizi n Tichka
Tizi-n’Tichka designates both a route crossing the High Atlas between Marrakech and Ouarzazate (198 kilometers) and a mountain pass at an altitude of 2,260 meters.

Ait Ben Haddou
Berber Village
The ksar, a group of earthen buildings surrounded by high walls, is a traditional pre-Saharan habitat. The houses crowd together within the defensive walls, which are reinforced by corner towers. Ait-Ben-Haddou, in Ouarzazate province, is a striking example of the architecture of southern Morocco.
