Welcome to Kirtipur Community Homestay

Upon arrival at Kirtipur Community Homestay, a warm welcome awaits you with a traditional Sagun ceremony, a Newari custom. Following lunch with the host family and a brief rest, you'll explore the town's history, visit temples, and meander through its alleys.
In the evening, you'll learn to write Ranjana Lipi, the ancient Newari script, using bamboo pens and ink. Aila, a local beverage, will be sampled. The day concludes with a typical welcome meal and the highlight – a Samay Baji set, offering an assortment of authentic Newari dishes. This experience offers a rich immersion into Newari culture.
