Uplistsiche Cave Town
Drive towards West Georgia. You’ll start your tour with visit to Uplistsikhe cave town dating back to 1st millennium BC. The town is identified as one of the oldest settlements in Georgia and is remarkable for the combination of Anatolian and Iranian cultures.

Gelati Monastery
Continue and drive through Rikoti pass. After arrival in Kutaisi drive to Gelati Monastery and Academy. The complex was found by the Greatest King of Georgia David the Builder in the beginning of the 12th century and earned high religious and cultural importance for ages. The main church was painted with frescoes between 12th – 17th centuries. Gelati Monastery and Academy is included in UNESCO World Heritage Sites list.

Bagrati Cathedral
Drive back to Kutaisi and visit Bagrati Cathedral – another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cathedral was found in 11th c. and named after King Bagrat III – the first King of unified Georgian Kingdom.
