Jinja is a town in southern Uganda, on the shore of Lake Victoria. The source of the Nile, at Coronation Park, is marked by a garden and a monument honoring British explorer John Hanning Speke. Owen Falls Dam and Bujagali Dam both span the Nile. Farther north on the river, Itanda Falls is known for its white-water rapids. East of Jinja, on Lake Victoria, Samuka Island is home to birdlife, including little egrets. Kampala is Uganda's national and commercial capital bordering Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake. After breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, you will meet our representative who will brief you about your 3 days Jinja and Kampala tour. After the briefing, you will depart for the Kampala city tour. You will visit places such as cultural sites like Bulange and the royal palace in Mengo, Kasubi tombs which are the burial grounds for the Buganda kings and Nagalabi coronation grounds. Have lunch in Kampala and later visit places like the Bahai Temple which is the only one of its Kind in Africa, Uganda museum and Namugongo Martyrs shrine. In the evening you will transfer to Jinja town for dinner and overnight at Jinja Nile resort or Nile Porch
