Your journey begins with a comfortable transfer from Johannesburg or O.R. Tambo International Airport. Travel northwest through South Africa’s picturesque countryside until you reach Ivory Tree Game Lodge, located in the northeastern region of Pilanesberg National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the friendly staff and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch in the main dining area. In the afternoon, you’ll head out on your first open-vehicle game drive, led by experienced rangers and trackers. Pilanesberg is home to a rich variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, leopards, as well as giraffes, zebras, hippos, and an incredible array of birds. After the drive, return to the lodge to freshen up before a gourmet dinner is served in the restaurant or outdoor boma. Dine under the African sky and listen to the night sounds of the bush.
