About
Tsavo is situated between Nairobi and Mombasa and made up of two separate parks, Tsavo East and West. This 3-day safari will take you to visit both parks. Tsavo, opened in 1948, is the oldest park in Kenya. The slightly larger Tsavo East is generally flat, with dry plains and the Galana River. Tsavo West National Park is wetter and more mountainous. Come explore Africa with us!
You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning, and begin your journey to Tsavo Park. Along the Mombasa - Nairobi highway, you will see elephants drinking from a watering hole near the lodge. Upon arrival in the park, ou will enter through the Bachuma gate in Tsavo East National Park and check-in at the Voi Safari Lodge for lunch. After lunch you will have time to relax or have a swim. In the afternoon you will enjoy a game drive to view the 'Red Elephants' of Tsavo, lion, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, and numerous other species of wildlife. You will visit Aruba Dam, where a number of aquatic birds can be seen. Later in the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
