Tsavo National Park East
Depart from your Mombasa, Diani, Watamu, and Malindi-based hotel and head to Tsavo East National Park. You'll arrive in time for lunch and check in at your lodge. In the afternoon, you'll have your game drives visiting the Aruba dam. This is the park famous for the man-eaters of Tsavo. You'll return late in the evening to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Tsavo East National Park is the home to the famous lions “Man-eaters”. It is in this park hundreds of railway workers were bludgeoned by these beasts around 7:00 pm. The park has big herds of elephants traversing from Tsavo West National Park. Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbuck, lesser kudu, gerenuk, and the prolific birdlife features 500 recorded species. Visit the Aruba dam where animals concentrate on water.
