Bab Boujloud is one of the most famous landmarks in Fez. You can easily find it using Google Maps, but if you lose your way, simply ask any local for "The Blue Gate" everyone knows it! We will be there waiting for you at the entrance.
You will be picked up from your accommodation or the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud) if you choose the shared tour option, and begin your journey toward the breathtaking Erg Chebbi dunes in the Sahara Desert.
Your adventure starts with a scenic drive through Ifrane, often called the "Switzerland of Morocco.
Along the way, pass through the picturesque Middle Atlas Mountains and make a stop in the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may have the chance to see playful Barbary macaques.
After a lunch break in Midelt, continue through the stunning landscapes of the Ziz Valley, known for its dramatic gorges and lush palm groves. Pass through Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil industry, before reaching Merzouga in the late afternoon.
As the sun sets, you will enjoy an unforgettable camel trek across the golden dunes, leading you to your desert camp. Spend the night in a traditional Berber tent, enjoying local music under a star-filled sky and experiencing the magic of the Sahara.
