Nagaoka Festival Grand Fireworks
The Nagaoka Fireworks Festival is renowned nationwide for its immense scale, emotional storytelling, and powerful finale launched over the Shinano River.
You will watch the display from reserved chair seating set on firm ground along the riverbank’s left side, allowing you to remain comfortably seated throughout the event.
A special bento dinner is included, allowing you to enjoy your evening meal at the venue. Fireworks are launched in dramatic sequences that fill the sky with color and sound, building toward a deeply moving finale that many visitors describe as unforgettable. The event proceeds even in light rain; however, heavy weather may result in cancellation based on the official organizers’ decision.
After the fireworks conclude, traffic restrictions and large crowds often cause delays when departing the area. This is a normal part of attending such a major national event.
