Day 1: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut 1385 m - 2515 m

Mount Meru
Start off with a hearty breakfast, then transfer from your hotel to Momella Gate (1385m). After registration, begin the enchanting 10 km trek through Arusha National Park’s Forest.
The hike usually takes 4-6 hours, and you may see black and white Colobus or Blue Monkeys in the trees, as well as beautiful birds, including Purple-crested or Blue Turacos.
