Nairobi – Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley
Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering sweeping views of escarpments, volcanic formations, and distant lakes. From here, you descend into the Mara region, arriving in time for lunch at a comfortable budget tented camp such as Rhino Tourist Camp or a similar option provided by Perfect Wilderness or Perfect Eva World.
In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) across the golden savannahs of Maasai Mara, where you’ll have a chance to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and perhaps the elusive leopard.
Return to camp for a warm dinner and an overnight stay under the starry African skies, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.
