Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
You will travel from the mainland (Garuga or Entebbe) to Walindi Point by taking a boat cruise on Lake Victoria. Lake Victoria is the second largest fresh water lake in the world, and it is considered the source of the Nile. As opposed to most other lakes, Lake Victoria (locally called Nnalubaale)is primarily filled by direct rain as opposed to other lakes that have large catchment areas that feed the lake through rivers.
Lake Victoria is 59'947 square kilometers large, that is about the same size as countries Togo or Latvia. The lake is rather shallow and was formed by the crust of the earth raising in the vest, as the eastern rift valley (Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchinson Falles National Park) is opening up and as a part of this the edge is rising.
