Ride along on a guide driven tour or rent your own machine and follow the guide. Our most popular tour for over 2 decades and the best bang for the buck for a 2 hour tour near Capitol Reef National Park. Named after a series of rainbow colored hills, the “Velvets” as locals call it are surrounded by towering 2,000 + foot red rock cliffs in all directions. This 2 hour excursion starts in Torrey and in 5 minutes takes us on part of the famous Great Western trail.
Drivers renting a separate machine must speak and read English fluently and will be required to authorize a credit card damage deposit of $3,000 in case of an accident. If not, our guide driven tours are a more simple and fun option!
