Morning departure: Start your journey early with a pickup from your hotel or airport. The drive from Mombasa/Diani takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, while the drive from Nairobi takes around 3 to 4 hours.
Park entry: Enter Tsavo East National Park through a main gate such as Bachuma Gate, and begin your first game drive en route to your lodge.
Wildlife viewing: Begin spotting animals as you head to your accommodation. Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and antelopes.
Lunch and relaxation: Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch. Spend the hottest part of the day relaxing by the pool or on a viewing deck.
Afternoon game drive: Depart for an evening game drive, a prime time for spotting wildlife as the sun begins to set. Head towards watering holes like Aruba Dam
or the natural dam at Mudanda Rock, where large numbers.
