The journey begins early in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar City, followed by a transfer to the ferry terminal. You will board a morning ferry and enjoy a scenic crossing across the Indian Ocean to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s largest city. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will take a train toward Mikumi National Park. The train will takes you through beautiful landscapes In the afternoon, you arrive at Mikumi National Park and begin your first game drive. The park’s wide savannah and open floodplains make wildlife viewing excellent. During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, antelopes, and with some luck, lions resting in the shade. The experience continues until late afternoon when you exit the park and proceed to your lodge or tented camp. In the evening, you check in at the lodge, relax after the day’s adventure, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
