Beyond the dunes, the sheer cliffs of the Djebel Tadrart Massif loom darkly on the horizon, while to the south and west is the high surrounding plateau of the Djebel Bani Massif. The dunes are a result of the Drâa River’s narrow slot in high ground.

We will drive for approximately 2 hours through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi 'n Tichka pass, stopping for photos along the way, and stopping to have breakfast.

Arriving at the UNESCO protected Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, we will have lunch and then visit the Atlas Film Studios.

We will continue to the Draa Valley and its Palmeraie. Then we will drive to the center of the Tinfou village.

Tinfou Dunes
Once arrived at Tinfou village, you will leave your driver there and go for an hour of camel riding. Enjoy your 3 hours in Tinfou dunes before going to your hotel in Zagora.
