Thingvellir National Park
he journey begins in Reykjavik with a pick-up around 8:50 AM from your selected location. The first destination is Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for the visible tectonic rift where the North American and Eurasian plates meet, offering opportunities for walking exploration. This location also holds significant historical importance as the founding site of the Icelandic Parliament, the Althingi, in 930 AD.

Geysir
Following the visit to Thingvellir, the tour continues to the Geysir Hot Spring Area, where you'll witness the dynamic geothermal activity, most notably the Strokkur geyser, which regularly erupts, sending boiling water up to 130 feet (40 meters) into the air every few minutes.

Gullfoss Waterfall
The Golden Circle tour concludes with a visit to Gullfoss, the "Golden Waterfall," a site that truly lives up to its name. The 104-foot (32-meter) waterfall, already a captivating sight, is further enhanced by the dramatic canyon that surrounds it, creating a breathtaking natural spectacle.

The crater features a striking blue lake nestled within its depths, contrasted by the vibrant red walls that encircle it, creating an almost eye-like appearance. Visitors have the option to admire this stunning vista from the crater's rim, or to descend and experience the view from the water's edge.

The day concludes with an overnight stay in Selfoss, the largest town in the South Coast region, notable for its connection of two scenic areas by a single suspension bridge.
