The Dazu Rock Carvings
We pick up travelers from hotel in downtown Chongqing, then get to our first stop-Dazu Rock Carvings.
Dazu rock carvings is a massive ancient Buddhsim stone carvings right on our way to Leshan, it's 800 years old since Song Dynasty. Over 10'000 statues were carved on vertical cliff side, pretty much represents Chinese ancient religious art style and carving skill. Meawhile it's also a Buddhism holy site for all believers.
It's been on the UNESCO world heritage list since 1999.
Excursion in there takes 2 hours. Lunch will be at a local farm restaurant with fresh country cuisines.
Then we'll move on to the next-Leshan city, roughly 3 hours driving through the pretty country side of Sichuan province. Upon arrival we'll get our dinner in downtown, then check in our hotel in Leshan city.
