Wir empfehlen Ihnen dringend, mindestens einige Monate vor dem Abreisedatum zu buchen, damit wir genügend Zeit haben, die Verfügbarkeit der Flüge sicherzustellen. Wenn Sie bereits Flugtickets nach und von Bhutan haben, können wir Buchungen bis zu zwei Wochen vor dem Abreisedatum annehmen. Die Bearbeitung des Visums dauert nur 4-5 Werktage.

Es gibt nur zwei Fluggesellschaften, die Bhutan mit der Außenwelt verbinden. Daher kann es schwierig sein, Flugtickets zu bekommen, insbesondere während der Hochsaison. Derzeit ist Bhutan mit diesen Städten verbunden: Bagdogra, Bangkok, Delhi, Dhaka, Guwahati, Kathmandu, Kolkata, Singapur. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, Ihre internationalen Flüge einige Monate im Voraus zu buchen, insbesondere wenn Sie in den Hochsaisonmonaten März bis Mai und September bis November reisen möchten. Wenn Sie Hilfe bei der Organisation von Flügen nach/von Bhutan benötigen, lassen Sie es uns bitte rechtzeitig wissen.

Nachdem Sie die Tour gebucht haben, senden Sie uns bitte klare Kopien der Reisepässe und Passfotos aller Teilnehmer. Eine Seite mit den persönlichen Daten, einschließlich der maschinenlesbaren Zone, muss deutlich sichtbar sein. Reisepässe müssen ab dem Tag Ihrer Abreise aus Bhutan mindestens 6 MONATE gültig sein. Sie sollten auch die Passbestimmungen Ihres nächsten Ziellandes nach Bhutan überprüfen. Eine Kopie Ihres E-Visums wird Ihnen per E-Mail zugeschickt, sobald es genehmigt wurde. Es dauert nur 4-5 Werktage, um ein Visum zu erhalten, und es ist zu 100 Prozent garantiert, solange wir klare Passkopien aller Teilnehmer erhalten. Das eigentliche Visum wird bei Ihrer Ankunft in Ihren Reisepass gestempelt. Senden Sie die Passkopien an die E-Mail-Adresse des lokalen Anbieters.

The route was once an important trade road in the past but has fallen into disuse since the advent of modern roads in Bhutan. It is now mainly used as a hiking trail and quite often used by the cow herders especially from Lhuentse in eastern Bhutan where you will spend a day resting and sightseeing (Day 10).
While the Rodung La Trek does not ascend to very high altitudes, it is still fairly challenging as the trail covers some fairly steep climbs and descents. The trail takes you from Bumthang...

You'll be received by our guide and the driver and then visit the National Museum of Bhutan to get insights into the history and culture of Bhutan. Opens at 9:00 am and is closed on public holidays.
We then drive to the capital city Thimphu, home to approximately 115,000 residents and the centre of commerce, religion and government in the country. On arrival in Thimphu, you'll visit Buddha Dordhenma Statue located on the hilltop overlooking the Thimphu valley; National Institute of Zorig Chusum where the 13 Traditional Arts & Crafts of Bhutan are taught. Located nearby is the National Library & Archives, a national treasure and fundamental source of Bhutanese history, religion, medicine, arts & culture. Opens during weekdays and on Saturdays 10 am - 12 pm.
