يُعد The Sign of the Takahe منزل راحة تاريخي نجا من زلزالي ٢٠١٠ و٢٠١١ ولكنه احتاج إلى ترميمات مكثفة للحفاظ على سلامته وسحره. يمثل هذا المبنى جزءًا حيويًا من التاريخ حيث يمكنك الاستمتاع بالمناظر الخلابة. بعد ١٥ دقيقة بالسيارة على طريق Dyers Pass Road على طول طريق Summit Road، نصل إلى الموقع التالي.

We will stop at another historic stone rest house, the Sign of the Bellbird. Here, you'll enjoy the breathtaking views of the Canterbury Plains and Lyttelton Harbour. A 10-minute drive brings us to the next location.

Following the coastal road, the journey continues to Cass Bay, where there is time to relax over morning or afternoon tea. A 5-minute drive brings us to our next destination.

Lyttelton is a charming historic town filled with quaint shops and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to explore, enjoy the local culture, and take in stunning views of the harbour. A 5-minute drive up Evans Pass to the lookout, following by another 5-minute drive to Sumner.

The final stop is the seaside suburb of Sumner, where you can take a relaxed stroll along the beach, explore the village, or simply unwind by the ocean before returning to Christchurch. A 20-minute drive takes us back to the city centre.
