Uganda Equator
You will depart Kampala city at about 9:00 am and head for a 3 hours drive to the equator located in Kayabwe one of the places the equator crosses in Uganda along the Mpigi-Masaka highway in Mpigi District. This drive is an adventure as you enjoy views of different villages of rural Uganda from your car. On arrival at the Equator, you will be warmly welcomed by one of the tour guides at the Equator, who will elaborate and carry out an equator experiment on how and why the equator crosses through the North and Southern Hemispheres. After this amazing equator experiment, you will obtain certificates that show you have visited the equator and Take photos that are forever memorable. Enjoy a nice, authentic, Ugandan local lunch meal at a local Restaurant. There are also a couple of craft shops with interesting items that can be bought as souvenirs.
