On this day our driver will pick you up early in the morning at 4:00 am from the hotel and head to Musanze district at the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for assembly and briefing about the endangered mountain gorillas and the volcanoes as well. The meeting is compulsory and it is also at this time that you get to be assigned to gorilla families and porters.
According to how gorillas are located, Gorilla groups are allocated taking into account your overall fitness. Now that you are ready, you will head to the forest to track your gorilla group along with other tourists.
