Wildlife Watching Safari by Vehicle & Walks / Photography workshops with a Guide
Reviews :Stewart is incredibly knowledgeable. He has an almost uncanny way of finding wildlife - probably due to his understanding of the habits and habitats of all the wildlife around. His passions shines through and he is happy to share this with others. Added to that his wife is an amazing cook so enjoy the picnic! Matt Rivers 5 star May 1, 2018 · Cracking day out with Stewart and highly recommend his services, great fun, never seen Golden Eagles in the wild before, even if it was a brief glimpse of them a couple of hundred feet above our head, but that’s nature, can’t tell it when and where to be on request. Also got to see a mother and pup Sea Otter catching and eating a Conger eel amongst lots of other wildlife and then to top the day off got to see a couple of different Pine Martins so all in all a very rewarding day out! (Home made cakes and pasties for lunch was an added bonus)

Weave a Piece of Prickly Tartan Workshop
Workshops run every Wednesday from April until October This weaving workshop isn’t just an activity – it’s a genuinely immersive, slow-living experience that you won’t find anywhere else in the area. Led by a crafter/weaver from Prickly Thistle Mill, the workshop blends traditional weaving techniques with mindful creativity, giving guests the rare chance to properly switch off, learn a new skill, and create something meaningful with their own hands. Set in a calm, welcoming space, this is an intimate, hands-on session rather than a large, commercial class, with expert guidance tailored to each participant, whether you’re a complete beginner or quietly creative. You’ll leave not only with a beautiful woven piece, but with a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship, heritage, and the simple joy of slowing down – something truly special and hard to find locally.
