Tour includes pre-trip assistance to help make your trip seamless. Your guide is versed in Sierra Nevada natural history; from the geologic processes that raised these mountains to the human histories of those who walked these trails before us to the fascinating plants and animals and modern science that we are still learning about today. Safety is a priority; I always carry a first-aid kit and I am certified in Wilderness First-Aid.

In summer and fall, we’ll climb to the breathtaking Moro Rock viewpoint and pass beneath Tunnel Log—a massive tree you can walk or drive under. We’ll explore popular sites and discover hidden gems known only to our guides, giving you a serene escape from the crowds. Living within minutes of Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite National parks all my life I have spent most of my life exploring all these parks have to offer. Private Snowshoe Adventure - Sequoia National Park
The experience you've been waiting for all year! Approaching a Giant Sequoia coated in freshly fallen, sparkling snow is a surreal experience. On this moderate, 2.5-mile round trip trail to Bear Hill in Sequoia National Park you'll get the chance to visit countless Giants while learning how to snowshoe! We'll look for the tracks of animals as we learn about Giant Sequoia ecology and the secret winter world beneath our feet. Warm up with a cup of hot cocoa, coffee or tea when we reach Bear Hill and hear the fascinating history of how Bear Hill got its name. There will be lots of great photo opportunities so be sure to bring your camera! *If there is not enough snow on the ground to safely use snowshoes, we will hike the trail on ice cleats instead
