After riding next to the river, in the shade of the jungle we emerge at Pig Stone beach, so named after the rock, visible at low tide. We turn west, fording the river, past the shrine to the Pig Stone. With the sun going down the seemingly endless beach is largely unspoiled with a couple of hardy surfers and a few locals enjoying the view at the end of the day.
