What You'll Do During Your Activity
You will engage in a focused, hands-on apprenticeship with a certified Sushi Master. The experience begins with mastering Shari, the foundational, perfectly seasoned sushi rice. You will then learn the critical knife skills required to prepare fresh fish (neta) under the Master's guidance.
The core activity is crafting Nigiri (hand-pressed sushi). You will practice the delicate technique of applying just the right pressure to form the rice mound and flawlessly bond it with the fish. You will also learn the precise method for assembling and rolling various Maki rolls.
