Parque Nacional Grutas de Lanquín
Grutas de Lanquín National Park is an impressive limestone cave system and one of the oldest protected areas in Guatemala. Located in the department of Alta Verapaz, just 1 km west of the municipality of Lanquin, these caverns are considered a sacred place for Mayan culture and host a unique biodiversity.
