It serves a unique dual purpose: it houses the country’s ultra-modern, high-tech container terminal (APM Terminals Moín) handling major international trade, while simultaneously acting as the primary gateway to one of Central America's most pristine wilderness areas.

Restaurante Finca Santa Rosa & Souvenir is a popular and strategic roadside stop located along Route 241 in the Santa Rosa / Pueblo Nuevo area, just south of Puerto Limón heading toward Río Banano.
