Villa de Óbidos is about 90km from Lisbon. Conquered by the first king of Portugal D. Afonso Henriques in 1148, it was donated to Queen D. Isabel as a gift of marriage with D. Dinis, becoming part of the property of the House of the Queen until 1834.
