After meeting your guide at the station in the morning, you will walk to the sumo stable (approximately a 4-minute walk). During the walk, the guide will explain important rules, etiquette, and basic information about sumo.
Upon arrival at the stable, you will be seated on a provided pipe chair or floor cushion and observe authentic morning sumo training. Photography is allowed during the training; however, video recording is strictly prohibited. The wrestlers are engaged in serious and intense practice, so please remain quiet at all times and be respectful of the wrestlers and the training environment.
