The Irati Forest is the second largest beech forest in Europe, with an area of about 19,000 square kilometres and countless trails. On our excursion we offer you the opportunity to visit this fantastic forest in a simple path suitable for all audiences. We will walk about 3 kilometers, enjoying a magical environment and our explanations so you do not miss detail.

Considered one of the most beautiful villages in Navarre, Ochagavia is the typical Pyrenean village photo that one seeks to make. Its stately homes next to the cobblestone floor give it a magical air. In Ochagavia we will stop to eat at a local restaurant (food not included) and then we will take a walk through the village, then enjoying free time.

Fantastic viewpoint over the Salazar River that will allow us to enjoy spectacular views. Also, if you're lucky, we'll see lion vultures flying a few feet away from us and even under our feet. At this stop you walk nothing, as the viewpoint is next to the parking lot.

To finish the day we will tour the Lumbier Trench. A canyon created by the Irati River in which we will walk between two high walls with a multitude of Vultures and some poplar. The walk is flat and simple, and is the old route of the Irati train, Spain's first electric narrow gauge train.
