Ошино Хаккай
Oshino Hakkai is one of the most beautiful and culturally important sightseeing spots near Mt. Fuji, located between Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka. The area is famous for its eight crystal-clear natural spring ponds, which are fed by snowmelt from Mt. Fuji that has been naturally filtered through volcanic rock for over 80 years.
This peaceful village offers visitors a chance to experience traditional rural Japan, with thatched-roof houses, small local shops, and scenic walking paths around the ponds. The water is so pure and transparent that visitors can clearly see fish swimming and even the deep blue color of the spring bottom.
Oshino Hakkai is also designated as part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site of Mt. Fuji, making it an important historical and cultural location. Visitors can taste fresh spring water, try local snacks, and take stunning photographs of Mt. Fuji reflected in the ponds (weather permitting).

The park is located on a hillside and requires visitors to climb approximately 398 steps to reach the main viewing platform near the Chureito Pagoda. The climb is comfortable with rest spots along the way, and the reward at the top is one of the most spectacular views of Mt. Fuji.

Святилище Хаконэ
Hakone Shrine is one of the most famous and historically important Shinto shrines in the Hakone region, located along the peaceful shores of Lake Ashi. Surrounded by dense cedar forest and mountain scenery, the shrine offers visitors a spiritual and traditional Japanese cultural experience.
The shrine was originally founded over 1,200 years ago and has long been a place where travelers, samurai, and locals prayed for safe journeys, good fortune, and protection. Today, it remains an active place of worship and one of Hakone’s most popular sightseeing spots.
The most iconic feature of Hakone Shrine is the large red torii gate standing in Lake Ashi, known as the “Torii of Peace.” This gate creates one of the most famous photo views in Hakone, especially during sunrise, sunset, or misty weather conditions.

The Hakone Sightseeing Cruise, often called the Hakone Pirate Ship cruise, is one of the most popular experiences on Lake Ashi. This scenic boat ride allows visitors to enjoy breathtaking views of the lake, surrounding mountains, and on clear days, spectacular views of Mt. Fuji.
Lake Ashi was formed over 3,000 years ago after a volcanic eruption and is now one of Hakone’s most famous natural attractions. The cruise connects major sightseeing points such as Togendai, Hakone-machi, and Moto-Hakone, making it both a sightseeing activity and a convenient way to travel around Hakone.

Долина Оваку-дани
Owakudani Valley is one of Hakone’s most famous natural attractions, created around 3,000 years ago after the last eruption of Hakone volcano. Today, visitors can see active volcanic activity with white steam vents, bubbling hot springs, and the strong smell of sulfur rising from the ground, making it one of the most unique landscapes in the region.
Owakudani is most commonly reached by the Hakone Ropeway, offering breathtaking aerial views of the volcanic valley and surrounding mountains. On clear days, visitors can also enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Fuji from the ropeway and observation areas.
The valley is famous for its local specialty called Kuro-Tamago (Black Eggs). These eggs are boiled in natural hot spring water, which turns the shell black due to sulfur and minerals. According to local legend, eating one black egg is believed to add seven years to your life.
