Walking to Sidi Naji

Check-out from M’Hamid, you gradually leave the palm grove with the camel caravan and enter the first desert areas. The walk takes you through the mineral reg, punctuated by acacia trees, before giving way to gentler landscapes mixing dunes and tamarisks.
You reach the site of the marabout Sidi Naji, a place of recollection for nomadic families. Lunch is taken along the way, in the shade of a tree, before continuing to the bivouac place in the erg of Sidi Naji.
At the end of the day, make way for the tea ceremony, the traditional dinner and a friendly evening around the fire, with preparation of sandbread.
