Hear the stories of fearless pirates, adventurers, mercenaries, native Americans warriors, run away slaves, rum runners,and more. Our tour hopes to bring you to a magical land of the past. A place where the struggle was real along with reward of resilience. An island that was named after a princess, a town named after a king. You will come to realize Fernandina's history is similar yet unlike any other in America. We pride ourselves in having more governing independent and national flags flying over our little island more than any other place in our country, eight sepperate governments would opperate Amelia Island within three hundred years. The question is, why would so many different people groups choose Fernandina over other parts of North America? In our tour we discuss all of these questions while visiting the iconic historicak streets and homes that were full of life just prior to the Civil War. So, stretch your legs and feet and be prepared for a life altering experience.
