We'll take a relaxed walk along Câmara de Lobos' scenic promenade, enjoying beautiful views over the bay and its colorful fishing boats. We'll stop at a few viewpoints along the way, giving you time to take photos while I point out some of the village's most recognizable landmarks and share a few interesting facts about what you're seeing.

We'll stop at the viewpoint where Winston Churchill famously painted the bay during his visits to Madeira. You'll hear why he chose Câmara de Lobos as his subject, enjoy one of the village's best panoramic views, and have the chance to take photos with the bronze statue of Churchill, depicting him painting the very scene in front of you.

We'll explore the harbour, colorful cobbled streets and a few hidden corners that many visitors miss. This is where you'll get a feel for everyday life in Câmara de Lobos while discovering the places and details that make this fishing village so unique. We'll also stop to enjoy an included glass of poncha, Madeira's traditional drink, first created here by the fishermen of Câmara de Lobos. If the weather is good, bring your swimsuit! You’ll have the option to take a quick dip in the harbour, something generations of locals have enjoyed doing here. It’s completely optional, but a great way to experience another side of village life.

We'll make our way up to Jardim do Ilhéu, a peaceful viewpoint with some of the best views over Câmara de Lobos. This is where the village's first settlers established themselves, making it one of the most historically significant spots in town. Today, it's the perfect place to take in the scenery, learn about the origins of Câmara de Lobos, and capture some unforgettable photos.

We'll finish at Henriques & Henriques, one of Madeira's most renowned wine producers, where you'll enjoy a tasting of Madeira wine. It's the perfect way to end the tour while discovering one of the island's most iconic traditions in a relaxed setting.
