The Beijing Bell and Drum Towers, located at the northern end of Beijing's Central Axis, are iconic ancient landmarks that served as the official timekeeping center during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Shichahai is a picturesque historic scenic area in central Beijing, made up of three connected lakes: Qianhai, Houhai and Xihai.
