Your adventure begins bright and early as we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and embark on a scenic drive to Capuliyoc, the official starting point of our trek.

Here, at an elevation of 2,850 meters (9,407 feet), we'll pause to enjoy breakfast in the quaint village of Cachora, a perfect setting to fuel up for the day's journey.

After breakfast, we’ll start our trek, descending along a picturesque trail that winds through lush landscapes until we reach Playa Rosalinas, nestled at 1,475 meters (4,840 feet) above sea level. This serene riverside location is where we'll rest and savor a freshly prepared lunch, with the gentle sounds of the river creating a peaceful atmosphere. In the afternoon, we will begin the challenging ascent towards Santa Rosa Alta. The climb is steep but rewarding, as we gradually make our way up to our first campsite, situated at 1,900 meters (6,234 feet). After setting up camp, you’ll be treated to a well-deserved dinner under a sky filled with stars, a perfect ending to a fulfilling day.
