Your journey begins with a morning departure from Marrakech, heading towards the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. You will travel through the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), the highest road pass in Morocco, offering breathtaking panoramic views of mountain landscapes, traditional Berber villages, and winding scenic roads.
Along the way, several stops can be made to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and discover local mountain life.
The trip continues to the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most well-preserved fortified villages in Morocco. This historic ksar is famous for its traditional earthen architecture and has been featured in many international films and series such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. You will have free time to explore the kasbah, walk through its narrow alleys, and enjoy views over the Ounila Valley.
