In the afternoon, we will start the tour visiting the Temple of Coricancha, aslo known as Golden Temple, for its gold richness that this place housed. This symbolic place has a clear example of the fusion between Incan and Hispanic cultures, and during the Spanish conquer, the temple’s base was used to build the Church of Santo Domingo and its famous convent.

We will continue this entertaining excursion in the military compound of Puca Pucara, which means “Red Fortress” for its reddish infrastructure.

Then we will go the water’s worship center of Tambomachay, with aqueducts and waterfalls provided from nearby springs. Definitely, the Inca civilization had an advanced and surprising construction engineering. Later, we will drop you off at El Regocijo Square.
