This 3 Day Best of Murchison Falls and African Big 5 trip takes you to the mighty Murchison Falls the largest and most adventurous national park in Uganda. Among the remarkable activities in the park include hiking at the top of the falls, the Nile forces itself through a 7-meter gap and tumbles 43 meters with a deafening sound then flows westwards into Lake Albert. You will have a boat cruise experience on the Nile to the bottom of the falls and even breath-taking game drive. A safari to Murchison Falls offers the opportunity for the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffaloes, rhino (in Ziwa rhino sanctuary) and leopard in Uganda.

Arrival at Entebbe and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park
On this first day, of your safari, your guide will pick you up and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. The highlights of this safari include the roaring falls of Murchison, a boat trip to the bottom of the falls, the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park with chances of sighting elephants, buffalo, lions and giraffes. Expect a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a short walk to see the white rhinos with a ranger escort for about an hour seeing them enjoying the sanctuary. With lunch en route proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. You will occasionally sight wildlife on your way to your accommodation.
