Day 1: Fez → Ifrane → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
Departure: Early morning from Fez (around 7:30–8:00 AM)
Stops along the way:
Ifrane: Known as the "Switzerland of Morocco" – quick stop to explore or take photos.
Azrou Cedar Forest: Chance to see wild Barbary macaque monkeys.
Midelt: Lunch stop in a town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains.
Ziz Valley: Beautiful views of the oasis and palm groves – photo opportunity.
Arrival in Merzouga: Late afternoon (~5–6 PM)
Meet your camel guide for a sunset camel trek (about 1 hour) into the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Arrive at your desert camp .
Standard camp: Private tent, shared bathroom.
Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, music around the fire, and stargazing.
