Luxor Temple

The Luxor Temple stands as a grand testament to Ancient Egyptian architecture and culture. Situated on the eastern bank of the Nile River in what is now Luxor (formerly Thebes), this magnificent temple complex was built around 1400 BCE. In the ancient Egyptian tongue, it bore the name "ipet resyt," meaning "the southern sanctuary.

Temple of Karnak

The Karnak Temple Complex, also known simply as Karnak, is an expansive complex of temples, pylons, chapels, and various other structures located near Luxor, Egypt. Its construction commenced during the reign of Senusret I (around 1971–1926 BCE) in the Middle Kingdom period (circa 2000–1700 BCE) and extended into the Ptolemaic Kingdom era (305–30 BCE), although the majority of the existing edifices originate from the New Kingdom period. The vicinity surrounding Karnak held great religious significance in ancient Egypt, referred to as Ipet-isut, meaning "The Most Selected of Places". It served as the primary site of worship for the 18th Dynastic Theban Triad, with the deity Amun at its helm.
