This 3.5-hour, small-group walking tour will open your eyes to the culture, food, and traditions of beautiful PV. "Infant" tickets include one taco at location of choice, water, Mexican sweet bread, and a popsicle for dessert. We will spend up to 2 full hours touring the different planting beds, nursery, and gift shops. This includes the Vanilla Plantation, Orchid Houses, Begonia House, Cactus House, Rhododendrons House, and aquatic plant pools. Guide will lead discussions and make commentaries based upon science, Mexican history and Mexican mythology. After the tour, you have several options to see more on your own including visiting the river and swim. Or travel to the historic town of El Tuito by bus visiting the old picturesque main plaza. Or visit a tequila distillery or spend the afternoon at a zipline canopy company. Lunch available at the award winning Botanical Gardens restaurant Hacienda de Oro. You can't beat the Classics, and our Taco Classics tour is an express tour designed to give you a taste of traditional morning/daytime tacos from all family-owned food carts in PV. This family friendly tour is great for kids and adults. Starting at our office in el Centro we take guests through the bustling neighborhood of Emiliano Zapata/Romantic Zone. In just about 2.5 hours you will try 5 full-size portions of essential street tacos, refreshing agua fresca, Mexican Coca Cola, bottled water, and a handmade frozen dessert. You’ll also stop by a tortilla factory to see how tortillas are made.

This walking tour will cover many areas of the hidden Historic Heart of Puerta Vallarta. During the easy 3 hour walk, we will visit many historic neighborhoods and explore hidden staircases, paths, and hidden gardens. We will visit a cemetery, and two very Mexican traditional shopping pavilions where families shop for meats, fish, vegatables - also learn all about Tortillas at a small family factory. We will also visit the Malecon for a few blocks and walk to the lookout high above the Historic Heart of Puerto Vallarta - in season see whales!
