This small-group walking tour offers an intimate experience of Brussels. You guide leads you through the historical center and its main landmarks, including Grand Place, Royal Galleries, Cathedral, Manneken Pis, Royal Square, and Mont des Arts. The experience begins with a waffle tasting at The Waffle Heritage, accompanied by coffee or tea. Along the tour, you will taste Belgian specialties, including chocolates from a Royal Supplier and traditional sweets based on recipes dating back over 500 years. While the tour includes tastings, it remains a true historical walk. Over 2.5 hours, you will cover the main sites of Brussels, offering a complete experience combining history and gastronomy. You will explore Brussels away from the busiest crowds in a more personal setting. The walk ends at Royal Square, with a stunning view over the city and easy access back to the Grand Place via Mont des Arts. Your guide will also share practical tips and personal recommendations.

A fascinating introduction to Brussels, its highlights, hidden gems and its diversity of neighbourhoods. Get a broader view on the city by discovering it by bike! Enjoy the perfect mix between the city’s highlights such as les Marolles, Place Sainte Catherine, the Palace of Justice and lesser known hidden gems you would not discover by yourself. We put the bicycles aside at the halfway point to take a small break in a cosy bar or on one of the many terraces (drink is optional and not included in the ticket). During this workshop, we teach you the basics of beer tasting with the help of 3 traditional Belgian beers, as well as how to make Brussels waffles using beer! There will be an introduction and then a presentation about the beer. We will make our batter then let it sit for a while while we try the 3 beers. Then, we cook our waffles and cover them in as many sweet toppings as we want! Feel free to make the craziest topping combinations and take pictures! Every participant can receive a complimentary drink to enjoy with his/her waffles, in addition to the beer. If you eat over 9 waffles during the workshop, you will become our new champion!! The record has been standing for a while and we are looking for someone to beat it!!!

The meeting point is Brussels main square "La Grand Place." This is an excellent starting point as it was the main market of the city known in dutch as the "Nethermarkt." I will explain the geography of the Low Countries, the governors of these regions through history, and the economic development with the sheep whool, cereals (beer of course), metals, etc. The idea is to know why Brussels was (and is still today) an important economic centre. Then we walk to most important landmarks of the city centre such as: Statue of Manneken Pis a symbol of the city and its museum. Statue of Jacques Brel the belgian GOAT (greastest of all times) Visit the medieval fortified wall built in the 13th centuy Aristocratic neighbourdhood SABLON with its antiques and diamond shops and the gothic church Notre Dame du Sablon, a french style garden Petit Sablon and Palace Egmont. Tour ends in Mont des Arts, with Rue Royale (royal street) Palace of Justice, the museums, and the iconic Royal Square.

Practical activity! Not only will you learn all the steps to make chocolate, but you will also participate in making chocolate from scratch, a cocoa tea, a face mask and 3 chocolate tablets to take home. We couldn't do more in just an hour!
