This experience is designed to help you discover the Langhe region and its wines, guided by a local winemaker and winery owner. The tour focuses on understanding the territory through its vineyards and landscapes, highlighting how soil types, vineyard exposure, and grape varieties influence the wines of this part of Piedmont. Particular attention is given to how viticulture has evolved in recent decades in response to climate change. The experience includes visits to local wineries, where you will meet the producers, explore their cellars, and learn about their production techniques. Tastings of several wines and vintages complete the visit, offering a direct and authentic connection to the region and its wines.

Together, we will explore Piedmontese culinary traditions through a Tuscan perspective, combining the techniques and flavors of two of Italy’s most renowned gastronomic regions. We will prepare traditional tajarin, ravioli del plin, and authentic Tuscan pici, following the original recipes. You will learn how to make two different types of fresh pasta dough: an egg-based dough for the Piedmontese pasta and an egg-free dough for the pici. Each preparation will introduce you to specific traditional techniques, from the delicate “plin” used to shape the ravioli to the hand-rolling technique used to make pici. The cooking class will also include a tasting of a selection of local wines. This is a unique opportunity to discover the roots and secrets of two extraordinary Italian culinary traditions, learning how to make the most of fresh ingredients and create dishes that tell the stories and express the authentic flavors of their regions.

The Royal Palace of Venaria is a magnificent example of Baroque art immersed in the beautiful setting of its namesake village. The French Gardens have left their mark important architects as Amedeo di Castellamonte and Juvarra. This ticket ensures a streamlined entry into the Venaria Royal Palace. This is a wine tour to discover Monferrato: one of the most suggestive and less touristic areas of Piedmont, rich in history and great wines. The first stop will be a small natural winery in the area where I will introduce you to the oenologist and producer who will guide you, together with me, to discover his cellar, his wines and his production philosophy. After the first visit you will have lunch in a traditional restaurant selected by me where you can discover typical Piedmontese dishes enjoying the tranquility of the local atmosphere. After a relaxing lunch break we will leave for another traditional winery where, after listening to the story of the rediscovery of an ancient native variety, we will visit an ancient underground cellar and together with the producer we will taste their most classic wines. During the day we will have the opportunity to walk along scenic roads admiring fascinating corners of Monferrato and discovering small hidden treasures of Piedmont.
