Franco, Romy’s father, well known as Pulpa, started building the boat in 1990 as a hobby. He patiently and determinedly worked on the boat for 13 years until it's completion. Madonnina is a traditional Croatian wooden boat build in 1983 and renewed last winter by me and my father with much love. It is a small boat made for groups, friends or couples. The tour starts in Harbour of Opatija. Each guest becomes a glass of Malvazija, wine from a local winery, which also has its story. On the way to Volosko, we are stopping on the main sights where the licensed guide/captain gives you the interpretation of what you see. On the way back we visit the most beautiful views of Opatija from seaside and make a Polaroid photo which you take home as a souvenir from this romatic and fun ride. If we don't see dolphins you can join us free of charge on the next tour. At the end of the tour you will have the opportunity to see the old town from the sea perspective.

The wines tasted at the wineries are all representative of the area of ISTRIA, so red wines are made from Teran, Refosk, Merlot and other red grape varieties. This tour of "Istrian hill tops cities" will give you an impression of inner Istria. Driving to Groznjan we will stop for a photo on Lim Fjord. In Groznjan we will walk the ancient streets. If we are lucky, we might get to know one of the local artists. After Groznjan we will go to Motovun. In Motovun we will have a walking tour, tasting of truffle products and we will visit the city walls where you can enjoy the "View of half Istria". There you will have some free time for lunch, I can reserve a table for you at the famous restaurant "Mondo". There you can eat A la Cart, of course their specialty are truffle dishes. On our way back we will stop in Pazin to see the Abyss.
