After the fall of Rome, Poreč came under the rule of numerous kingdoms and empires. Venetian, Austrian, Italian, Yugoslavian, and many other administrations defined the urban identity of the city. In particular, the 6th century Euphrasian Basilica is a perfect example of that, as it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997. You should visit Poreč while in Istria, Croatia. Exploration of the Istrian Coast Poreč Rovinj Lim fjord and Vrsar
Islands, rocks, wildlife, bays, romantic villages... you will see the beautiful Istrian coast, taking a daily excursion with our beautiful wooden boat. Starting from Poreč you can see the various lagoons up to the entrance of the Lim and Rovinj canal. You will have the opportunity to visit the romantic Rovinj, you will have time there. 2 hours to walk through its streets... After which we will sail towards the Lemme canal and you will be able to admire the Natural Park and see the pirate cave which was Captain Morgan's refuge in the Middle Ages. After that we will sail to another beautiful town Vrsar, there we will stop for 1 hour and 30 minutes. You can visit Vrsar or dive into the sea and lie on the beach. Afterwards the return to Poreč follows On board during the journey you will be served a fish or meat or vegetarian lunch with wine and water. Our tour will start from your accommodation and will take you on a great journey through the beautiful Istrian countryside. You will join in the truffle hunt / with a guide and his/her dog / sample some great food with truffles and the have a great visit to the local wine cellar. The winery tour is included as well as tasting of up to 5 wines and local "tapas". the tour last approx. 5 hours.
A breathtaking unforgettable experience to see dolphins in their natural habitat! We will set sail in the late afternoon from Poreč and head to the open sea away from the coast, away from traffic. We will need your help. Guests will be asked to look out to sea. The more eyes at sea, the sooner we will find them.
