The winery visit is a sensory experience and a chance to learn about the precious grape varieties that are used to make the amazing wines of the Valle D’Itria. You’ll see the 16th century Masseria and Trulli as well as the ultra-modern winery where you can understand the processes from harvesting to production right through to bottling and dispatch. There will be a tasting of 4 different wines with savoury snacks. A quick visit of Locorotondo , the “the medieval round town” , then a tasty light lunch including typical food from the Farm and “Locorotondo DOC” local wine . Then, on to Alberobello. A Unesco World Heritage site since 1996, the historic centre is made up oftwo distinct regions. We’ll visit an ancient Trullo and meet a genuine local Trullo Master who willdescribe the construction techniques of the Trulli. At the end of the tour a tasting of typical “rosoli” can be sampled on a stunning panoramic terrace up amongst the cones and pinnacles of the surrounding Trulli.

Immersed in a centuries-old olive grove, you will have the almost unique opportunity to walk in the vineyards of Ottavianello, Impigno and Francavidda, minor vines that have almost disappeared, and to visit the medieval hypogeum.

Among intense scents and colors, you can walk among ancient olive trees, visit the underground and epigean oil mill and discover the evolution of the rural world over the centuries thanks to the attached museum of rural civilization. During the tour you will learn about all the processes that lead to the birth of extra virgin olive oil and taste the products of the farm. An experience that combines taste and culture, capable of surprising and satisfying every sensation.

In this perfect experience for both adults and children, you will be welcomed by me and my family in our country house in Ostuni, Puglia, and through our Guide you will learn to cook as well as handmade pasta, appetizers and typical desserts, even the tricks that make the difference in our culinary tradition! Relax by discovering the slowness of creating handmade pasta and the quality of simplicity. If possible, depending on the season, we will harvest and use the vegetables and fruits from our garden. Obviously after cooking we will taste together the results of our work. At the end of the experience you will receive the recipes of the dishes so you can propose them at your home when you want! You can join with your own e-bike at no extra cost, or reserve an e-bike ready on site for €45, payable locally. The local products tasting is optional and paid on site (€14). Unless you communicate otherwise when booking, e-bikes and the tasting will be considered reserved for all participants. For children’s e-bikes, child tandems and child seats, please check “Included/Excluded”. Ride from Ostuni into its countryside on an easy e-bike route through centuries-old olive groves and authentic rural landscapes. You’ll discover curiosities about olive trees and the key steps behind extra virgin olive oil, from tree care to pressing. A local escort manages the route, stops and assistance, keeping a relaxed pace. You’ll stop at a countryside home surrounded by olive trees, where you can enjoy local products. The experience also includes a scenic 2 km hill walk. On the way back, you’ll pass through the historic center of the “White City”. Comfortable closed-toe shoes are recommended.
